MetadataWorks raise £500k of Seed Funding
We are delighted to announce that we have just closed our first seed investment round. We have a fantastic group of investors that includes a mix of industry experts, angel investors, and seed funds.
Bill Flind will be joining our board as Chairman and his experience as a CEO and 3-times exited founder, paired with a strong sales and marketing background in B2B software solutions, makes him a fantastic addition to the leadership team. We are delighted with our network of investors and advisors, giving us the opportunity to get guidance from a group of people who can share their experiences and perspectives as the company moves into a new phase of growth.
Funding will allow us to scale and meet the growing market demand for solutions in the data management and interoperability space – applying our innovative metamodel to real-world challenges and deploying the MetadataExchange to make data work for people, organisations and society.
“MetadataWorks have developed powerful innovation to help medical researchers dramatically speed up their research process. This can help deliver shorter lead-times to discovery and better use of funds in the medical sector. Adam and his team bring the best of data science and machine learning to the important area of medical research, and we are proud to support their future work with our recent investment”
Mads Jensen, Managing Partner, SuperSeed
We will be using funds to:
- Grow our team
- Invest in sales and marketing
- Improve UX
At this juncture, it’s worth taking the opportunity to thank our fantastic team for all their hard work, our customers for pioneering our technology, accelerator academy for their excellent programme and of course, all our investors for their continued faith.
We’re all excited about the bright future ahead.
